John Jaffery, Lewis Benedikt, Edwards Wanderley, his nephew Don Wanderley, and teenager Peter Barnes. Ghost Story weaves the tale of five older gentlemen in a quiet town–Milburn, New York–and their experience with a recurring “spirit.” Ricky Hawthorne, his wife Stella Hawthorne, Sears James, Dr. Now, four years later, I liked it far more than I originally did, albeit, still being a slow-burn. This was my second time reading the book, and I hated it the first time, back in 2012.
Ghost Story by Peter Straub is quite an interesting literary experience.
